Race Across Texas ride report<\/a><\/h2>\n

\nI have always enjoyed Spinistry gravel grinder events \u00e2\u20ac\u201c from challenging Red River Riot to shorter fun rides like the
\nNortheast Texas trail ride or the Midnight Massacre night ride. Kevin Lee, the race promoter always puts on great
\nevents with well-marked course, neutral support and great food afterwards. When I found out that he is
\norganizing a Race Across Texas during the first week of November, I was very excited. I always wanted to try a
\nmulti-day stage race and the Race Across Texas (aka RAT) was the perfect opportunity. The race was divided into
\n8 segments\/stages (about 100 miles each) for total of 880 miles of dirt, gravel and paved roads from Texarkana on
\nTexas\/Arkansas state line to Tucumcari, NM. I signed up for the supported option in which Kevin would haul our
\ncamping gear and food between stages since I did not want to carry all my gear on the bike. With the supported
