Regarding “Ups and downs” (Page B7, Saturday), I saw your thumbs down on the Tour de Houston because the 60-mile route went through a park named after a mayoral candidate supported by the mayor’s former aides.
\nI have another thumbs down for you: Why is a city-sponsored bike ride supporting reforestation of the city when it should support more and safer bike lanes throughout the city? It’s time for this event to get its priorities straight.
