The bluebonnets are out &#8230; as our many other wildflowers. For years I have wanted to bike on roads with fields full of bluebonnets alongside. This morning that desire became reality, and I have also learned that bluebonnets are a kind of lupine. In northern Minnesota purple lupines have become common along the highways in June.
