In addition to NICA related activities, we were also happy to participate at the 25th anniversary of the Sea Otter Classic and it was very interesting to see more youth racing than ever before! What is the reason behind the increased participation? Simply put, NICA.<br \/>\nInterscholastic cycling is booming as a result of the hard work the NICA League Directors and National Office staff have put in over the past five years to inspire, train and support coaches to work in their respective communities to form school based teams. The cat is out of the bag and we are currently reviewing proposals from five new regions that all want to join the movement. Ed was a great guy, and before back problems put him on a recumbent, he won multiple state championships in a VC kit.
