Following the State Criterium Championships last week, an interesting post regarding racer safety, as well as the responsibility of bike race promoters and bike racers, spawned a heated conversation.<br \/>\nHere, Jordan Oroshiba, 21, a category 2 bike racer, full-time student, and owner of Cadence Coaching, wades in with his personal thoughts on racer responsibility.<br \/>\nMemorial Day in Texas is for criterium racing, and the last couple years also for rain. Luckily, there are at least half a dozen cities in the United States ready to do this.<br \/>\nWe would know. The Better Bike Share Partnership announced today that it has awarded nearly $375,000 in grants to bike share operators and community organizations that are working to make bike share programs more equitable.
