The five-day 2015 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships kicked off on Wednesday in Mammoth Mountain, Calif., with the first six Stars-and-Stripes jerseys awarded and 24 Category 2 and 3 gold medals settled.

A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a car in North Austin on Thursday night, Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services officials said.
\nThe bicyclist, a man in his 40s, was injured in a crash on 7200 McNeil Drive, officials said.
\nHe was transported to St. David\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Round Rock Medical Center with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
