This two-hour recreational bicycle ride is for cyclists of all abilities, offering courses of approximately 8 and 20 miles. Your participation in the ride will help promote bicycling in the Houston area.<\/p>\n
The Ramble is organized by BikeHouston, which continues the work of the Houston Area Bicyclist Alliance to:
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 promote bicycle projects in your neighborhood including bike routes and bicycle parking
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 teach bicycle safety and education classes in the community and schools
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 ensure that bicyclists\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 interests are represented in regional planning
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 organize and sponsor Bike Month and Bike to Work Day
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 promote acceptance of bicycles and bicyclists on roads and in parks
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 provide helmets for children
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 spread the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153share the road\u00e2\u20ac\u009d message<\/p>\n
