The accident happened just before sunrise on Wednesday.
\nA 62-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car on the 500 block of South Highway 183 early Wednesday morning.
\nThe Leander Police Department said the accident occurred just before 7 a.m. when it was still dark outside. Both the car and the cyclist were traveling northbound when they collided.
