I purchased this bike from a used bike shop about a year ago. I called the number on their website went to their place of business and paid cash. I got a bill of sale and went on my way. At the time I didn’t live in Houston but I moved there recently.
\nHouston has a bike registration ordinance so I tried to register my bike but it came up as stolen. I called the bike shop and spoke to someone claiming to be the owner. He claims that he was out of the country for a few months and left his employee to manage the bike store. The employee sold bikes and ran off with the money after destroying all records.
