\nMore details have emerged after a man riding a bicycle died in a hit-and-run traffic collision early Monday morning along U.S.59 in southwest Houston.
\nThe incident happened about 5:50 a.m. in the 1200 block of the outbound Southwest Freeway frontage road near Westpark Drive, according to the Houston Police Department.

The $3.9 million Red Arroyo Trail, initially scheduled for completion by mid-July of last year, is finally close to being completed and some residents are starting to use the 4 miles of meandering 14-foot wide concrete paths.
\nUnfortunately, I don’t see the Red Arroyo area becoming a major exercise and recreation destination for San Angelo residents. My bet is that the primary users of these paths will be people who live or work close to the arroyo and who don’t mind the comparatively drab appearance of a red-dirt flood plain with very few shade trees.
\nMost people will continue to use the KOA loop or the lakeside parks for their cycling, running or …<\/p>\n
