I got it one Christmas when I was a kid. Of course, it was red with fancy fenders and white wall tires.<br \/>\nI rode it to my elementary school. I rode it to my cousin&#8217;s house which was about four blocks away in our neighborhood. My cousin and I both rode our bikes to a ceramics class we had that summer; we had to cross a major street to get there.<br \/>\nI rode my bike almost every day until it got stolen. I hardly have been on a bicycle since.<br \/>\nI was thinking about my long ago Schwinn as I looked over the proposed bike network for Corpus Christi.
