\nMost of you on this blog don’t even know me, let alone my dear friend Todd Lang whose life last week was cut way too short. What’s relevant is that Austin is my home and Todd, who’s ridden all over the U.S., loved coming here to ride and have fun. In fact after his first trip here, he ended up shipping one of his many bikes here so that he could visit regularly Fall thru Spring to enjoy riding, exploring, and recreating (not to be confused with re-creating). Unfortunately he only got to enjoy two such visits, the last one in early Feb. During his visits here we managed to ride Deception, RPR, Pace Bend, Reimer’s Ranch, and WC. Of course we also enjoyed many of Austin’s fine establishments, and he especially liked ABGB and the Oasis Brewery. Like many of us MTBers, Todd thoroughly …<\/p>\n
