After breakfast this morning we set out to try to make it to the next town, knowing the forecast called for up to 60 mph wind gusts coming from the west. Unfortunately, we&#8217;re heading straight west today. So as you can imagine, we weren&#8217;t able to move very fast with a constant headwind of at least 40 mph all day. We did end up making it, however, to the next town over (about 34 miles away) after a grueling 6-7 hour battle to keep our bikes moving forward and not backward.
