LPD officer to participate in Texas Peace Officers Memorial Ride<\/a><\/h2>\n

The numbers are staggering – 120 in 2013, 136 in 2014, 128 in 2015 and so far, 32 police officers have been killed in the line of duty in the first four months of this year.
\nWhile Lewisville has escaped the statistics, the deaths still hit close to home.
\nLewisville police Sgt. Jesse Hunter will once again take part in the second annual Texas Peace Officers Memorial Ride in support of all Texas C.O.P.S. Chapters and the DPS disability fund. Beginning Saturday, 72 riders will leave from Katy and ride to LaGrange. Sunday the ride continues …<\/p>\n
