\nHouston\u00d3\u00b3 comprehensive plan for improving bicycling in the city is finalized, and now supporters are turning their attention to gaining City Council approval and bureaucratic changes that will make the long-term plan a reality.
\nDebuted in February, the Houston Bike Plan was changed after nearly 150 public meetings and events where the plan was displayed. After receiving a deluge of public reaction, officials added 133 more miles of bike trails or shared use paths to the long-term plan.
