\nA bicyclist in San Marcos was hit and killed by a train Thursday afternoon.
\nIt happened at around 3 p.m. near the San Marcos Activity Center on East Hopkins Street.
\nSan Marcos Police say the victim — identified only as a male in his early 20s — was found near the railroad tracks. First responders performed CPR on the cyclist but were unable to revive him. He was declared deceased at the scene. …<\/p>\n
