I said my farewells, then I began to ride.<br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t make it very far before some noise of my chain forced me to stop. Something was wrong! I had just put a new chain on, it shouldn&#8217;t have anything wrong with it. I realized that the reason it was so noisy was that I routed it incorrectly (it was over one of the metal derailleur tabs, instead of under it). At first glance it didn&#8217;t look wrong but it was, and I had to ride back to my friend&#8217;s house and borrow some pliers to fix it.<br \/>\nI had to say my farewells again!
