I had been recommended to go through First Davis but this was 91 miles and given I wasn&#8217;t ready to go till 11.30 I decided to take the easier route to Marfa instead.<br \/>\nRide was pretty much all down the 90 which was excellent early with a very smooth shoulder after about 45 miles it turned into quite rough chooses. The whole day was uphill slightly and into a wind significantly. This led to slow going. Between Van Horn and Marfa Google says there are a few towns, Valentine, Quebec and Ryan.
