In the past everyone had generally followed the &#8220;race loop&#8221; which has been a long-standing route. Most people rode everything in one direction even though everything at WC is bi-directional. By reversing the Lop Loop directions you can actually put it all together nicely. My 2x crankset up is a 24T\/38T, so I wanted to get one chain ring some where in between my current set up but large enough where I could still have some speed on the flats but not burn my legs on the climbs. So I did a lot of research and ended up going with a 32T RaceFace Narrow Wide chain ring.
