Tyler seeks grant to add bike lanes, make it easier for commuter bicyclists to ride safely<\/a><\/h2>\n

\nIf selected, the grant would pay for 80 percent of construction costs, but would not cover any engineering fees or right of way acquisition. Officials estimated the grant would require a $230,000 match, plus another $150,000 in non-eligible costs – for a total of $380,000 of local money needed for the project.
