Trail advocates cheer bill that brings cities, utilities together<\/a><\/h2>\n

\nIt\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s about to be easier for cities in Texas to develop hike and bike trails along utility corridors, though Houston\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s experiment also shows it still takes a long time to get something built.
\nOne of the last bills to win approval in the Capitol, HB 931, eases the legal barriers so cities and utilities that own rights of way along major lines can cooperate to develop trails along the routes.
