When I start the bike ride at 12:20 pm in July it will be hot. 94 degrees at the start and 96 at the 2:33 pm finish. The south 10 mph wind helped cool some as long as I was moving. Stopping for a few seconds brought lots of perspiration but taking a drink of ice water from my bottle reversed the heat for a few seconds too. I rode the “Oakhurst – Valley Ranch” route for a total of 27.2 miles<\/strong> which pushed this week’s total to 244.9 mile<\/strong>s, the most miles in a week so far this year. July is off to a good start though I will miss biking a couple of days this week.<\/p>\n

I wanted to stop and take some pictures of the flower beds at Kingwood Nursery on several rides but never did it. Today I made up my mind to stop. This is what I saw.<\/p>\n

The bike is my Blue Norcross AL. The sun flower goes with the Tour de France but not as many as they have in the fields along the race.<\/p>\n
