New research provides clearer picture of fatal bike crashes nationwide<\/a><\/h2>\n

Not much in the way of details yet, but it appears to have been a 12 year old boy, riding home from school. US281, about a mile NW of Hico TX. Air evac, but not sure if he was taken to D\/FW or Waco. He’s awake and alert, but they’re waiting for CT scan results.
