<\/a> <\/div> <\/div> <\/a> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/a> <\/div> <\/div> <\/a> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>\nToday I rode the “New Caney – Tavola – Valley Ranch” route to the north, not sure if the roads to the south were passable. If I had not known the rain amounts I would have been hard pressed to see flood damage except when I passed over the Caney Creek bridge on Loop 494 and saw sand washed onto the road in places. Near the end of the ride in Kingwood’s Bear Branch Village I heard generators running and as I got within 3 blocks of my house I could still hear the generators. Our internet service went out on Monday and was restored while I was biking today. We lost electricity several times but not for more than 5 or 6 hours at a time. I did not see any houses with carpet or other water damaged stuff on the curb along the route but if I had ventured a little off the route it would have been there.<\/p>\n
Hopefully people recover but it will take awhile.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow I will try riding to Huffman.<\/p>\n
