I was a member of ACA at least once or twice a few years back. I joined \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Bike Austin\u00e2\u20ac\u009d itself in the summer of 2016. Why? I was fortunate to be able to leave my career in 2015 (the word \u00e2\u20ac\u0153retirement\u00e2\u20ac\u009d makes me uncomfortable). Getting involved in bike advocacy had long been something I wanted to do after getting rid of the pesky demands of my traveling sales engineer job.<br \/>\nWhat benefits or positive outcomes have you enjoyed as a Bike Austin member?<br \/>\nBike Austin membership literally pays for itself, considering the Go Local card, Bicycle Sport Shop gift card, and the other discounts.
