Township moves to bring bike share to community<\/a><\/h2>\n

\nResidents and visitors alike will soon have a new resource for getting around The Woodlands \u00e2\u20ac\u201c a new program that will bring shareable “smart bikes” to the township.<\/p>\n

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors approved at their Dec. 6 meeting a memorandum of understanding with a firm called Mobike. The company, according township documents, provides smart bikes which can be shared by anyone for fee. The company is reportedly the largest bike-sharing firm in the world with more than 5 million bicycles being shared in 180 cities across the globe. …<\/p>\n
