He has served as editor of VeloNews, executive editor of Bicycling and produced more than three-dozen cycling books. His road cycling career dates to 1972 and emphasizes long-distance events.<\/p>\n
Until retiring in the spring of 2005, longtime cycling writer and coach Fred Matheny was RBR’s vice president and primary content provider.
