It also serves as a foundation for decision-making, including all decisions made under the Unified Development Ordinance. Two of the city\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s projects include identifying routes for dedicated bike lanes and testing out bike-friendly traffic signals.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Hanuscin, a Cedar Park senior engineer, said the city has been programming signal cabinets, or the technology that operates traffic signals, to distinguish between vehicles and bicycles.
