The bike belonged to his late father.<\/p>\n<p>Stiles Harper is less than a week away from competing in the Ironman triathlon in Houston. We then took the Pendenales Cutoff back to Fredericksburg. We used a mixture of camping and hotels. We also decided to eat all meals in restaurants so we didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t bring any cooking gear. When cycling in direction (or directly away) from a major city, it helps to find a small road which parallels a major highway. Carmine to Richards<\/h3>\n<p>Tuesday April 24, 2018, 112 km (70 miles) &#8211; Total so far: 2,975 km (1,849 miles)<br \/>\nToday was a glorious day for riding. The ACA route travels on excellent Farm Road 390 which has good pavement and shoulders plus little traffic. The area is once again lush and prosperous looking with a few hills thrown in for good measure. We stopped for lunch in Navasota at Classic Rock Coffee. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s on the left side coming into town. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be turned off by the lack of ambiance or the music.
