Even with the winds the ride was great. Just as they can be a headwind they also turn into a tailwind sometime. Today was one of the longest rides for the area around where I live. Today&#8217;s ride was mostly in Montgomery County to the north and west of Kingwood. I did not see any other riders today but I did get to pass out a Texbiker.net business card to a man in New Caney when I stopped to re-fill my water bottle. He said he was thinking about starting to ride a bike and I told him that Texbiker.net could help him get started.<\/p>\n<p>Riding home I realized that I know riders&#8217; names in the European peloton but I do not know players&#8217; names on the Houston Astros or the Houston Texans. We have been watching the Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatio stages races in France and Italy, respectively.
