Andrew Armstrong of Matrix and USA Cycling did a fabulous job of organizing it, and Adam Tunks helped with registration, Fondren Library\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Rob Walker took HD pictures and video of the finishes and SMU\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Associate Director of Facilities Management and Sustainability Michael Vangeli helped design the course. Rob and Mike\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s experience greatly assisted making the course as safe and challenging as it could possibly be in such a difficult venue (Rob used to race in Belgium, early 90\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s on the cobbles of Flanders, and in innumerable European criteriums)…<\/p>\n

\nWhat fantastic ride! Lots of hills and fantastic scenery. I did a 42 mile for my first organized ride and it was great. Several people told me that it was a good test and a great training\/conditioning ride. Sengleman Hall is a very cool old dance hall. It was a fun place to eat lunch and have a cold beer after the ride. Planning on doing this ride again next year and going back to Schulenburg in two weeks for the Lions Club ride. Organizers were a bit lax on getting the ride going and nowhere to be seen at the finish, otherwise 5 star for sure. …<\/p>\n
