Last year I spent a couple days of recovery with my crew that was staying on for Hell Week in Fredericksburg TX. I did a little eighty mile recovery spin with them &#8230;<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"182\" width=\"300\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.bacchettablog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/jsgivingshellenatow-300x182.jpg?resize=300%2C182\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/community.active.com\" href=\"http:\/\/community.active.com\/message\/728208\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Texas Independence Bicycle Tour Reviews | Active.com<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThis was a great ride.\u00c2\u00a0 The only thing that I would say is that the rest stops were to far apart.\u00c2\u00a0 Look forward to doing it again next year.<\/p>\n<p>This was a fantastic ride and I will definately be doing it again next year.\u00c2\u00a0 I agree with the previous review about more rest stops, but the ones that were there were stocked FULL and everyone was extremely friendly and very helpful.\u00c2\u00a0 The support on this ride was great right down to the end, however, it seemed at times that the SAG vehicles were MIA.\u00c2\u00a0 Luckily, that didn&#8217;t become an issue for me.\u00c2\u00a0 For a first annual ride, I would say it was exceptional!!\u00c2\u00a0 An added bonus was everyone cheering for the riders as they arrived, it means so much to those of us who have just begun cycling.\u00c2\u00a0 Thank you Deer Park Rotary!!!! &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/virtualbicycletour.blogspot.com\" href=\"http:\/\/virtualbicycletour.blogspot.com\/2010\/03\/no-excuses-just-plain-lazy.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Virtual Bicycle Tour: No Excuses, Just Plain Lazy.<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nby Virtual Rider<br \/>\nI am rededicating myself to ride consistently for the rest of the year.
