Sunset was still almost 2 hours away. Ride conditions are starting to get reliable although a quick cold front is supposed to come Friday night. The evening wind was 15 mph from the SSE. I left home at 6:13PM. This is nice considering last year I was fortunate to be home from work by that time. Road construction in the Houston area can make commute time unpredictable. My route from work is pretty clear now.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight&#8217;s ride statistics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>miles = 19.31<\/li>\n<li>riding time = 1:22:49<\/li>\n<li>average pace = 4:17 min\/mile<\/li>\n<li>average speed = 14.0 mph, max speed = 21.9 mph<\/li>\n<li>average cadence = 78 rpm<\/li>\n<li>max cadence = 106 rpm<\/li>\n<li>climb 202 ft., descend 186 ft.<\/li>\n<li>March total miles = 400.19<\/li>\n<li>Average March miles = 346.81<\/li>\n<li>2010 total miles = 886.76<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[nggallery id=14]<\/p>\n<p>To prove that Spring is here I took these pictures from
