At last count, there were at least nine group rides per week for local cyclists to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>I do my own version of a group ride. I just pedal along, talk to (and answer) myself, and thus a solitary excursion becomes a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153group ride of two.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d During really hard or long workouts, a third little voice appears in my head, which makes it a group of three.<\/p>\n<p>All jokes aside, taking part in real group rides is an effective way to&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/bikeguru.anyhow5.com\" href=\"http:\/\/bikeguru.anyhow5.com\/crossing-the-texas-plains-by-bicycle-6\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Bikes Guru \u00c2\u00bb Travelogue Entry \u00c2\u00bb Crossing the Texas Plains by Bicycle<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nby jennifer8163<br \/>\nCrossing Texas by bicycle is not an easy feat at all and certainly I am not suggesting that anyone try to cross from El Paso to Beaumont; that would indeed be a nightmare. Sometimes we work just as hard as when we&#8217;re bucking a wind or climbing mountains, but it feels wonderful to spin for speed. Twenty miles out from Paris, the symbol for the end of the day, we change counties.
