Sunny weather continued for today’s bike ride on the “Atascocita – Walden – E. Lake Houston Parkway” route. I biked 26.79 miles<\/strong> which put me over my 700 mile goal for October at 707 miles<\/strong>. I reached the goal on Atascocita Shores Drive as I passed Shoregrove Drive on the way back to Kingwood. The ride started at 12:25 pm and finished at 2:25 pm. Year to date I am at 7,326.7 miles<\/strong>. With two months left I should add to that total. It is possible that this year will be the most miles ridden in a year.<\/p>\n

Weather during the bike ride: start 79 (68% humidity), fair, wind SW 8 mph. Finish 82 (53% humidity), fair, wind SW 8 mph. No need to wear extra jerseys today. Shorts and a short sleeve jersey were perfect in this weather.<\/p>\n

No rest stop needed today.<\/p>\n

The great weather could last through Wednesday allowing me to add more miles to October.<\/p>\n
