However, I still get excuses from people regarding why they can&#8217;t ride their bikes. For most it&#8217;s the Texas heat. If you are not already a committed commuter, pedaling down the road in the heat of the day can be a bit discouraging. Well, no more excuses people! &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.the33tv.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.the33tv.com\/news\/kdaf-plano-teen-track-cyclist-story,0,3584205.story\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Track cycling helps Plano teen race through challenges<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nby 33 KDAF-TV<br \/>\nFRISCO, TEXAS &#8211; Cycling her way through high school. That&#8217;s what one Plano teen is doing, and it&#8217;s helped her go from a below average student to a standout.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; I love how it feels when you ride it. I also love how big of a family it is,&#8221; said Track Cyclist Erin Popovich.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; When you go really fast, you feel like you&#8217;re flying, really,&#8221; she says.<\/p>\n<p>Erin Popovich,17, is a junior at Plano East High School. This is a great rally and your entry includes admission to the festival and 2 drink tickets for soft drinks or beer(Shiner Boch).
