The ride promises to be fun and challenging, for the novice as well as the expert. So bring your water bottles and come prepared for a hot time!!<\/p>\n<p>Entry Fee&#8230;.will be $20.00 per person if pre-registered as of August 1st ,2010.Please pre-register so enough supplies will be available for everyone ( everyone who pre-register is guaranteed a T-shirt) .After August 1st,all entry fees will be $25.00.Make checks payable to Vernon Jaycees.<\/p>\n<p>Packet Pick-up\/Late registration&#8230;<br \/>\n6:00 pm-7:00pm Friday 20th at the King Physical Ed Center at Vernon College.<br \/>\nStarting at 6:00am the day of the ride at the King Physical Ed Center at the Vernon College.<\/p>\n<p>Packets will include a T-shirt (Guaranteed to pre-registered riders only) and various goodies.<\/p>\n<p>Parking and Facilities&#8230;.Plenty of parking will be available at the college. Sorry, no parking will be permitted along Highway 70..Bathrooms and showers will be available at the King P.E. Center (at the Vernon College) so bring your towels and soap!!!<\/p>\n<p>Tour Routes<br \/>\n12 MILE-for the novice, a good family ride for those with young children.<br \/>\n22 MILE-flat, rural, with unpredictable winds.<br \/>\n38 MILE-rural and scenic ride with some hills ad challenging winds.<br \/>\n62 MILE-(100k)- a scenic ride through the Waggoner Ranch and along the Pease River: challenging hills with lots of wind and lots of heat :a challenge for even the expert.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VERNON BURNIN&#8217; BIKE RIDE.
