More clouds rolled in but the temperature was in the mid 70’s for today’s bike ride on the “Kingwood-Community Drive-Valley Ranch” route. This took me to the north for the first time this year for a total of 25.66 miles<\/strong>. I pushed the start button at 12:05 pm and finished at 2:04 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the friendly temperature I wore shorts, long sleeve jersey, and a wind breaker jacket. At first I was a little chilly but after 15 minutes the body heat kicked in and I lowered the jacket zipper a couple of inches. From then I was comfortable except when a gust of wind caught me. Weather during the bike ride: start 73 (70% humidity), overcast, wind S 9 mph. Finish 74 (68% humidity), overcast, wind SW 12 mph, gusts 17 mph. The wind helped me get to Community Drive and battled me on the way back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power is doing better with 134 watts average and a max of 451 watts. I suspect the 451 watts was fighting the wind on the way south for an instance that doesn’t jump out on the chart. My right calf shows no signs of the surgery other than a scab and some swelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
