This evening&#8217;s ride was pretty tame. Mostly cloudy skies, 81 degrees and a 10 ESE breeze. Humidity is high given all the rain we have had. Despite the rain I think we are still short for the year. This reminds me of 1974 when I moved to Houston. I thought I would spend the evenings at the pool after work but rain seemed to appear each afternoon around 4 or 5 to make the pool not so inviting.<\/p>\n<p>This morning on the way to work I stopped at the HEB grocery on the Katy Freeway to pick up some Gulfwax to replace the wax I have been using for a year or so to wax my chain. I thought it would be a rather simple stop but it ended up having 4 or 5 stockers trying to find where the Gulfwax had been moved. Eventually after several cell phone calls the wax was located and I was on my way.
