For a change the wind wasn’t a factor in the bike ride. Nice way to end May biking as I rode the “New Caney – Tavola – Valley Ranch” route for 33.16 miles<\/strong>. May riding totaled 877.63 mile<\/strong>s, the most miles in a month since August 2018. I am on track to bike 200+ miles this week with 182.79 miles<\/strong> so far and Saturday to go. I started biking at 11:13 AM and finished at 1:47 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weather during the bike ride: start 87 (75% humidity), overcast, wind variable 4 mph. Finish 93 (57% humidity), mostly cloudy, wind calm. With the temperature above 90 my choice of clothing was comfortable: shorts, short sleeve jersey, and arm sleeves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I rode through Tavola the colorful flowers caught my eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
