The southern breeze made the ride seem harder than it should have been but I kept turning the pedals knowing the headwind would end soon. Once I turned east the wind was my friend and I made some good time. The low humidity (39-46%), fluffy little clouds, 93 degree temperature were my ideal conditions. Twice today at work I had to walk outside to thaw out. There were three ladies sitting on the retaining wall doing the same thing.<\/p>\n<p>Six riders passed riding the opposite direction while I was on Fairlake Drive. I suspect some of them are the speedsters that have passed me in the past.
