City decides against bike lanes on Patterson for new bikeway<\/a><\/h2>\n

On Thursday, June 13, the City of Houston Planning Department held a public meeting to present the (nearly) final design choices for the new Patterson Bikeway. The route is designed to provide a link between the White Oak Bayou Trail near the Heights and Buffalo Bayou Park, and will run mostly on Patterson Street.<\/p>\n

The route presents some real challenges on what infrastructure to choose, mostly due to the varying widths of the 3 streets that comprise the route. …<\/p>\n

Anyone heading up to Rosebud for this on June 29th?<\/p>\n

I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m fairly new to gravel riding, but this looks fun. The 100 and 53.5 are chipped races, while the 28 and 15 are tours. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m debating between the 28 and 53.5 as of now.<\/p>\n

Looks like a fun event though, and I sure do love supporting small Texas towns. Only 1.5 hours away from the greater ATX area.<\/p>\n

It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a 7:10am +- 20min start, so possibly go up to temple and get a hotel, or camp in rosebud for $10. Or just leave home for 4:30-4:45am, which I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not afraid of.<\/p>\n
