Out the door and wheels rolling at 9:58 AM as I set off on the “New Caney – Tavola – Valley Ranch” route. I added extra streets at the beginning to push the miles to 37.18 miles<\/strong> and the week’s total to 101.19 miles<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer weather is starting to assert itself: start 88 (76% humidity, 79 dew point), partly cloudy, wind SW 7 mph. Finish 94 (61% humidity, 79 dew point), partly cloudy, wind SW 7 mph. My choice of clothing: shorts, short sleeve jersey, and arm sleeves. The higher humidity is still not a problem for wearing the arm sleeves but salt deposits collect on the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PowerPod update: at the suggestion of the supplier from their forum I connected the PP to the Isaac software to download the data for the two rides since I had the problem but no ride data was available. Then I did a reseton the PP, extracted a profile from a ride file before the problem and transferred that to the PP. On today’s bike ride I hoped that fixed the problem and it looks like it did. The power readings are back to what I expected. Next I need to connect to the Isaac software to see if the ride data is there. Power data for the two rides that didn’t record in the PP were recorded in the TCX file on the Wahoo Elemnt so I have that but not all of the other data the PP collects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
