It also illuminated the work of some committed cycling advocates. With the speed at which the world is traveling at these days, youth bicycling has been suffered. Safety is a priority for every parent and caregiver, but the benefits of slow travel methods such as bicycling has helped maintain its place in our society.<\/p>\n<p>On June 29th at Metz Recreation Center, 2407 Canterbury Street, Ghisallo Cycling Initiative will conduct the first of four Citywide Learn to Ride Events. The Heart of Texas Cyclists are hosting a bike ride to benefit the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center.<\/p>\n<p>Bike rides will begin and end at Festival Park in Brownwood.  There will be four routes with lengths of 8 miles, 25 miles, 40 miles and 63 miles.  The routes will feature some rolling hills and beautiful countryside as you pass through central Brown County. It&#8217;s the latest milestone in TREC\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s efforts to spur community-driven development.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Dallas Catalyst Project (DCP), The Real Estate Council (TREC)\u00e2\u20ac\u201din partnership with St. Philip\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s School &amp; Community Center, Cornerstone Baptist Church, and CitySquare\u00e2\u20ac\u201dbegan its work to revitalize parts of South Dallas and Fair Park in late 2017.
