I missed my planned 7:30 AM start time by 6 minutes rolling off at 7:36 AM on the “Atascocita – Huffman – Walden” route. I wanted to ride enough miles to push the week over the 200 mile mark and I succeeded biking 35.12 miles<\/strong> making the week’s total 209.06<\/strong>. June is up to 693.08 mile<\/strong>s, 107 miles<\/strong> away from my goal. This is the 6th week in a row of 200+ miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason I wanted to start at this time was to catch other cyclists on the east side of Lake Houston or other places along the route. I saw some in Kingwood as I headed to Huffman and more along the way to FM 2100. Later on the way back several passed me as I rode on the trail parallel to W. Lake Houston Parkway. Overall I think there were 15 to 20 other cyclists, not as many as I expected still a respectful number. Some photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
