It isn’t far from the Houston city limits to get into the country. On today’s bike ride I felt like I was in the country with cows and pastures along the “Kingwood to Ramsey Road – Huffman” route. Plenty of other bikers along the route too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started early at 8:18 AM hoping to see other cyclists and it didn’t take long to see the first one. From that point until I made the turn around at Ramsey Road 20 to 30 cyclists passed me, all going the opposite direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the early start (for me anyway) the temperature was in the upper 70’s but the humidity was 98% making for a cool but damp start. As the ride progressed the temperature went up and the humidity went down. A few clouds dotted the sky allowing the sun to shine through. Glad I wore arm sleeves for sun protection and some cooling effect. Weather during the bike ride: start 77 (98% humidity, 76.2 dew point), a few clouds, wind calm. Finish 93 (64% humidity, 78.8 dew point), a few clouds, wind calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
