I made a good choice on to the route for today’s bike ride. Checking the weather radar before I got ready to leave some rain showed to the north which I typically ride on Monday. With that I chose the “Atascocita – Walden – Huffman” route to the south and biked 32.18 miles<\/strong>. I started at 10:12 AM. Weather radar at the 12:37 PM finish of the ride. I could hear thunder to the north as I pulled into the driveway at the end of the ride and the sky was dark gray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I upped the pace some trying to get back home before the approaching rain. Average speed got up to 14.2 mph and I held it there until around the 30 mile point back in Kingwood. Strava told me this ride was harder than my usual effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
