Parents are advised to go over their walking route several times before the first day of school. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; BIKING<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Practice the bike route to school before the first day of school to make sure your child can manage it.\n&#8212; Always wear a bicycle helmet, no matter how short or long the ride.\n&#8212; Ride on the right, in the same direction as auto traffic and ride in bike lanes if they are present.\n&#8212; Use appropriate hand signals.\n&#8212; Respect traffic lights and stop signs.\n&#8212; Wear bright-colored clothing to increase visibility.
