Wheels rolled at 10:08 AM as I left to bike the “Spring Creek Greenway”. The last time I rode the greenway was July 1st, 2019. August just didn’t fit into rides that long. Today I biked 47.26 miles<\/strong> putting my September total at 300.84 miles<\/strong>, 43% of my 700 mile goal. I am getting closer to catching up now trailing where I should be by 73.3 miles<\/strong>. Yesterday I was 97 miles<\/strong> behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weather while I rode among the trees: start 90 (65% humidity, 76.4 dew point), a few clouds, wind N 8 mph. Finish 93 (52% humidity, 72.5 dew point), mostly cloudy, wind E 14 mph. The shade made the heat not so hot and as the ride progressed the clouds increased but not enough to block the sun entirely. Starting tomorrow (Tuesday) rain moves into the forecast further complicating catching up on my goal. I will try to ride early before the rain arrives. Wednesday and Thursday the rain may be heavy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The traffic on the greenway was light today but there were a few bikers as you can see in the video. This is the first video I have seen of someone biking on the greenway that I know of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
