This comes after an eight-month survey involving extensive citizen communication and a pilot program where scooters were allowed on selected park trails: &#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/tdn.com\/news\/local\/santa-bike-ride-returns-to-longview-saturday\/article_50bd5e28-044b-5455-b5b4-9200710e2683.html\">Santa Bike Ride returns to Longview Saturday<\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>Rose Lundy | tdn.com<\/h3>\n<p>Santa\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s got a new ride, and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a bicycle.<\/p>\n<p>For the second year, bicyclists dressed in festive holiday garb will ride around Longview\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Old West Side on Saturday morning ahead of the city\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s holiday parade that evening.<\/p>\n<p>Organizer Marti Fine said the event serves two purposes: celebrating winter and holidays; and showing people it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s possible to bike year-round.<\/p>\n<p>Fine moved from Connecticut to Longview two years ago. First St.<\/p>\n<p>The relocation begins an effort to expand the system coverage to more parts of Fort Worth.
